Chapter 1: Story Framework

Okay, so I haven't worked on my RPG in a while, which is understandable considering I just kind of JUMPED IN without any actual framework to go by. That's a NO-NO.

SO, I started writing down everything I wanted to happen/the story in semi-novel form. I haven't gotten past the prologue, but I'm getting there! :P

Anyway, I have to redo my maps in my game. At least, all but one two because I actually LIKE them, so I'll save them from destruction.

One of the maps in question:
So spiffy!

It was the first/second map I completed (kinda tied with the other one I kept, which is the inside to that little house there). I'm rather proud of it, even though it could use a few pro touch ups. But then again, this is an INDIE game. So no pros. :P

So yeah, that's about it for an update: made maps, deleted most maps, wrote some storyline. Boom. Progress.

Also got a new email for you guys to contact me with. So go ahead, spam me but not really.

My pet sim blog is still around, but I haven't been able to updated it lately because of ALL THE SCREENSHOTS I HAVE TO TAKE. It's insane, really. Does anybody even read that thing, anymore? Probably not. Meh.

Buh-bye~

Characters and RPG Plot

Okay, while I go through the tutorial for how to use RPG Maker VX Ace (Linkie link), I am brainstorming about the entire plot and the characters to be used in it. I want it to be some sort of spin off to my books (unfinished, but with plenty of ideas and characters), but I think a totally new story would be better.

I know I want my main character to be a girl (blond pale elf named Ella), but I am lost after that-wait! I know what to make it about!!

I am writing this book/short story that would be PERFECT for an RPG! Oh, I'm so excited!! Time to write down all the characters! :D

Stay tuned! Buh-bye!

Interesting!

Guess who realized a random game that IS NOT part of the bundle that appeared in her Steam? This one right here!

What in the world??

Oh well-I downloaded it since I apparently have a time limit to get it. It was there when I made the first post, but it WASN'T there yesterday when I got the bundle! Almost Free stuff rules! :D

That's pretty much it so buh-bye for now~

Oh, A New Blog~

That's right, dearies! I am making a new blog, and this one is way more interesting than the last one considering I haven't updated the last one in forever omg I am running out of pet games to play and I'm getting lazy. ^^;

Anyway! I discovered the wonderful www.humblebundle.com through another player on Felisfire (check here for more info on that site!) and I begged made a deal with her to get me the weekly bundle at the time (not sure when you'll read this, so sadly will write about it in past tense). Said weekly bundle was from the amazing RPG Maker (r). Let's see some pictures! :D

NOTE: I spent the max needed total of $12 and have everything offered in all tiers. Your downloads will look different depending on how much you spend ($1 vs $6 vs $12).

Oh, first tier~! Yours with any payment of any kind!

Second and third tiers! Yours with $6 and $12 respectively! The tiers stack, so with each one you unlock, you get everything below!

Just some info~ Click to read more!

Statistics. Interesting... >_>
Although, there was a purchase of $1,200 from someone anonymous that mysteriously isn't there anymore. O_o

All the ways (and amounts) to pay!

But wait...what does that picture say?? (Link:  http://contest.rpgmakerweb.com)

These things have to be downloaded to your computer. They are the bonus packs (music, tiles, etc) that go to your RPG maker.

This is how your Steam will look when you get the pack. I spent $12, so I have everything~

The software you get on your Steam. You have to download everything to be able to use it.

I blacked out my username on the Steam pictures. Why? Because I wanted to.

Anyway! Personal matters aside, the pack is so full of RPG making assets that I couldn't resist! All I need now is an actual story idea. XD I'll be back with pictures of the actual programs once I learn how to use them. I want to be able to help people make their own games as well!

Until next time, buh-bye~
